Changing any of your passwords shouldn’t be a big deal. In fact, it’s often one of the smartest things you can do from a security perspective. Especially if you re-use passwords across multiple platforms, periodic updates reduce your chances of someone else accessing your accounts.
You should, of course, avoid re-using passwords, but not a lot of people follow that advice. Plus, even if you use unique passwords for each website, security breaches can still happen. In those cases, you’ll want to change your password as soon as possible.
Simply follow these steps:
- Login to admin panel
- On left side menu hover over users
- Click on profile
- Scroll towards bottom there you will see create a new password
- Once you click on that – wordpress will generate an automatic password either you can keep it you select it remove that and make your own.
- Finally click on save. That’s it!
